Cast coordinates and executes every component of a residential project — from structural framing to the last coat of paint — with the same standard applied throughout. Our stable of professional subcontractors has worked with Cast for years. When something needs to be addressed, it is addressed quickly. That accountability cannot be assembled project by project.

We work with some of the finest architects and design firms on the North Shore. If you already have a design team, we integrate seamlessly — or we can point you toward the right people if you are earlier in the process.

Cabinetry built to AWMAC Premium Grade standards with 3/4" plywood boxes, dovetail joinery, and Blum hardware. Mitered tile corners, flush niches, and geometry that most contractors cannot execute.

A major whole-home renovation encompassing kitchen, great room, dining, living, home office, garage, ensuite, and additional bath. The kitchen features custom two-tone shaker cabinetry, Calacatta marble slab backsplash, professional Fulgor range with flanking sconces, skylights, and brass pendants throughout.

Every millwork element — from the built-in banquette with integrated storage to the custom coffee station — was executed in-house by the Cast team. The master ensuite includes a full walk-in shower with linear drain, frameless glass, and brushed brass hardware throughout.

A complete penthouse renovation in downtown Vancouver — full kitchen with Miele appliances and Calacatta marble, master and secondary bathrooms, custom white oak built-in entertainment wall with integrated gas fireplace, custom walk-in closets, and all living spaces rebuilt from the floor up.

The master suite features a floating walnut double vanity with marble countertop and wall-mount chrome faucets, tube sconces flanking full-height mirror panels, and LED toe-kick lighting. The kitchen contrasts charcoal lower cabinets with walnut uppers, white quartz island, and integrated Sub-Zero refrigeration. Every detail executed at the level the investment demands.

Ballpark Estimate

We start with an honest ballpark so you know whether the project makes financial sense before anyone commits. A real number to work with — not a vague range designed to get you in the door.

Scope & Contract

If the ballpark works, we define the scope in detail and enter a preliminary agreement. Our key subcontractors walk the space, review drawings, and identify anything that needs to be resolved before pricing.

Pricing & Contracts

Within 7–10 days of the site meeting, we assemble firm quotes from selected trades and build the final hybrid estimate — fixed-price from subs, cost plus for Cast. We work through any adjustments together until scope and budget align.

Construction

We build the full project schedule — colour-coded by trade and stakeholder — and construction begins. You have real-time access to photos, updates, and schedule throughout. Weekly client meetings. The entire team held to the timeline.

You will always know where you stand.

Cast works best with clients who have a clear vision, a genuine budget, and an understanding that good work is priced accordingly. We are straightforward people who build for straightforward people.

Fixed-Price Subcontractor Quotes

Every defined trade scope — electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting — is quoted at a fixed price. No surprises on these scopes. Any work beyond the quoted scope is handled with a formal change order before it proceeds.

Cost Plus for Cast’s Own Scope

Cast's carpentry, framing, project management, and site coordination is billed on a cost plus basis — not inflated into a fixed markup. The most honest way to price work that evolves as a project develops, and it keeps our interests aligned with yours.

Running Estimates Throughout

We update the overall project estimate as things develop. Our invoices break down materials, labour, and trade costs clearly — so you understand what you are paying for and nothing comes as a surprise.

Weekly Client Meetings

Every active project has a standing weekly check-in. We review progress, flag anything coming up, and keep the schedule honest. Good communication is the foundation of a good project — and a good client relationship.
